What time is my surgery scheduled for?
The surgery start time will be determined by 3:00pm the day before your procedure. Keep in mind that the scheduled time can be changed due to unforeseen circumstances. You may also be called the morning of surgery and asked to come in earlier, so please keep the day free and be available.
What kind of anesthesia will be used?
The decision is made with a discussion between you and the anesthesiologist, with Dr. Besh’s recommendation.
Will Dr. Besh be performing my surgery?
Yes, Dr. Besh is your surgeon.
When will I be able to drive?
This differs from patient to patient, but typically in 1 to 2 weeks. You should NEVER drive while taking narcotics.
How long will I be off work?
Typically, the first two weeks after surgery you will be taken off work. You will then be given appropriate modifications until you are finally released to full duty.
